Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury are set to face of again in one of the most anticipated rematch in the boxing world in February next year, MySportDab reports.
Tyson Fury has just confirmed that he signed the contract for the Wilder rematch.
“The Wilder rematch has been confirmed and signed,” Fury said in YouTube footage.
“22nd of February. It’s on.
“This time, I haven’t been out of the ring for three years. This time, I haven’t been abusing too much alcohol. And this time, I’m going to knock him the f*** out.”
Many fans thought Fury did enough to win the fight after 12 rounds, despite being knocked down in the final round.
The Brit was knocked down twice in the fight, and the 12th round knockdown appeared to be the final act.
Last December’s showdown was the first time either man has failed to record a victory in a professional fight.
Elsewhere, Anthony Joshua will be trying to win back his three title belts at the end of the year, after he suffered a shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr. Joshua’s rematch is expected to be either in November or December this year.
